Unlocking Value from Every Gas Resource | Tuke Energy Associated Gas Compressor Units Successfully Shipped

Recently, Anhui Tuke Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. successfully completed factory testing and shipped its VW series associated gas recovery compressors, designed for a surface facility project at an oilfield in Basra, Iraq. Once commissioned, the equipment will be used to collect, boost, and export associated gas, thereby minimizing resource venting and enhancing the project’s overall energy utilization efficiency.

To address operating conditions characterized by complex gas composition, fluctuating inlet pressure, and potential liquid content, the project team developed an integrated design covering gas flow regulation, inlet separation, inter-stage cooling, automatic liquid drainage, and safety venting systems. The equipment features a heavy-duty structure and a modular skid-mounted layout; key operational data is centrally monitored via a PLC system, supported by multi-level alarms and interlocking protection mechanisms.

During comprehensive testing, the compressors operated smoothly with excellent regulation performance, while the cooling, lubrication, and separation systems functioned correctly. The on-schedule delivery of this project marks a significant milestone in Tuke Energy’s efforts to support energy conservation, emission reduction, and resource recovery for overseas oil and gas fields, while demonstrating the company’s engineering expertise in handling complex media and variable operating conditions.
