Recently, the MFD series natural gas compressor units manufactured by Anhui Tuke Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. successfully passed factory performance tests and pre-shipment inspections. They have now been dispatched to a natural gas processing project in the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia. The equipment will handle natural gas boosting, transportation, and gas supply for downstream processes.

The project site experiences low ambient temperatures in winter, imposing stringent requirements regarding material toughness, lubrication and cooling systems, instrumentation stability, and startup reliability. To meet these operating conditions, Tuke Energy implemented a low-temperature adaptation design, specifically configuring key pressure-bearing components, seals, electrical parts, and heat tracing/insulation systems. Additionally, an integrated control scheme was adopted to enable centralized display of operating parameters and safety interlock protection.

During commissioning, the units demonstrated excellent power matching and smooth pressure ramping, with discharge temperatures and vibration levels at all stages remaining well within controlled limits. Prior to shipment, the project team carried out rust and moisture protection, nozzle sealing, and the securing of critical components to ensure the equipment could withstand long-distance international transport. This delivery further solidifies Tuke Energy’s project experience in the field of natural gas compression equipment for cold-climate regions.
