Corrosion-Resistant Solutions Empowering Fine Chemicals: Tuke Energy’s Hydrogen Chloride Compressor Completes Integrated Trial Run and Ships Successfully

Recently, the VW series oil-free hydrogen chloride process compressor—independently designed and manufactured by Anhui Tuke Energy Equipment Co., Ltd.—successfully completed continuous load testing and comprehensive performance verification at the company’s final assembly and testing center. The unit operated smoothly, and all test results met the specifications outlined in the project’s technical agreement. The equipment has now been securely packaged and shipped to a large-scale coal-chemical industrial base in Ningxia.

Hydrogen chloride is highly corrosive, imposing stringent requirements on the materials of wetted parts, sealing structures, piping cleanliness, and operational safety. Addressing the specific characteristics of the medium, the project team executed targeted designs for the cylinders, valve assemblies, packing seals, and associated piping. They also implemented rigorous controls regarding material quality, assembly inspections, and leak detection for critical components, ensuring a balance of corrosion resistance, sealing reliability, and long-term operational stability.

During the testing phase, technical personnel verified parameters such as vibration, temperature, pressure, leakage, and interlock protection systems. The equipment demonstrated stable pressure ramping, accurate control system response, and excellent operational performance. The successful delivery of this project further underscores Tuke Energy’s capabilities in the engineering design and complete-set manufacturing of compression equipment for corrosive process gases.
